Demonstration
 | Demo - IHDI Field Representative and Assistant Director, Bob Cooley, will bring his demo dog, “Chopper,” to your club or organization’s meeting to present a 45-minute demonstration. Bob and Chopper offer an entertaining and educational presentation showing off Choppers hearing dog skills and answering questions about IHDI’s program. Demos are available to any service group or organization interested in sponsoring a hearing dog or offering support to our program. We do ask for a minimum $50 donation to cover travel expenses. Tour
IHDI offers tours of our training center to service organizations and groups from the Denver area or visiting the area. This 45-minute tour will introduce your group’s members to the activities of the hearing dog and give them the unique opportunity of seeing a hearing dog in action, being trained for its job. Tours are available to service organizations interested in supporting IHDI’s program and to groups in need of IHDI’s services. Tours must be scheduled in advance and are dependent on IHDI staff availability. If applying for a hearing dog, please include your name, address, phone number, and some general information about your situation and we will send you an application.
If you want to visit, we are approximately 20-25 minutes north of Denver (extra if rush hour). Go north on I-25 to I-76. Take I-76 east to the 88th Ave. exit (exit 10). Turn left on 88th Ave. Go 3/10 of a mile to 89th Ave. (gravel road) and turn right. There is a large brick International Hearing Dog sign at the corner. We are on the right at the bottom of the hill.
If coming from Denver International Airport, exit the airport on Pena Blvd. to I-70 West. Continue on I-70 to I-25 North, and follow above directions from I-25.
