Meet “Maximus”
IHDI Reaches 1,200th Hearing Dog

It’s always exciting news when IHDI reaches a milestone. IHDI staff are excited to share another one with you. We have come to our 1,200th Hearing Dog placement with a little one-year-old Pekingese mix named “Maximus.” This type of milestone is particularly exciting for us because it means we have completed 1,200 placements and helped numerous people gain back their security and independence.

Maximus came to our facility a few months ago and was hard at work ever since! Our Head Trainer, Andrea, says he loves to play and is a very sweet and loving tittle guy. He was placed here locally in Denver with a previous recipient. Maximus was her second Hearing Dog from IHDI. Check our Facebook page to see photos of his placement and leave him a Good Luck message!

Raise a Cup of Coda with “Coda”

“Coda,” one of IHDI’s newest Hearing Dogs in-training, wanted to ask for your help as she starts her journey to become a Hearing Dog. How can you do that? It’s simple, just buy some coffee!

Coda Coffee Company, is based here in Denver, Colorado. They work to enhance the lives they encounter through education, advocacy and partnerships. This awesome local company is offering Coda and IHDI a special promotion. By ordering coffee on their website (www.codacoffee.com) and using the promo code “coda,” Coda will receive 40% of the proceeds to help pay for her training and placement.

All the money raised through this fundraiser will go directly to Coda’s placement. Please follow the instructions below to purchase your coffee and remember, coffee makes a great gift for the holidays!

Instructions:

Visit www.codacoffee.com and from the menu select “Products.” In the drop-down menu, select “For Your Home” then select “Browse All Products.” The page will list all of their roasts. At checkout, they will ask you for a promo code. Type in “coda” and 40% of the proceeds will go directly to her.
